2015 Scion tC and 2015 Scion FR-S Pricing Announced

The 2015 Scion FR-S has added stiffer mounts, retuned rear shocks, a new shark fin antenna, larger exhaust tips, interior upgrades and a newly designed key, and is priced at $24,900. For $26,000 you can do a six-speed automatic transmission (vs. the six-speed manual).

The 2015 Scion tC has added steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, new colors and the new Dynamic Rev Management technology that provides automatic throttle blipping for smoother downshifts. The new tC is priced at $19,210 for a six-speed manual and $20,360 for a six-speed automatic.

Scion Military Rebate

As a special thanks from Scion to the men and women of the U.S. Military for their service and dedication to defending our country, we offer a Scion Military Rebate on new Scion vehicles.

If you are a member of the U.S. Military with current active duty status or a reservist, you may qualify for a $500 rebate[1] toward the purchase or lease of a new Scion when financed or leased through a participating Scion dealer and Toyota Financial Services (TFS). Retirees or Veterans honorably discharged within one year of service and household members of eligible qualifying military personnel also qualify.

How to qualify:

Eligible customers must be in current active duty status in the U.S. Military (Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard and Active Reserve). U.S. Military Inactive Reservists that are part of the Individual Ready Reserve, Selected Reserve and Inactive National Guard also qualify.

• Verifiable proof of military status or proof of active service is required at time of purchase in the form of one of the following documentation:
• Leave and Earning Statement
• Military Identification Card
Qualified customers must receive a salary sufficient to cover ordinary living expenses and vehicle payments.

Retired Military Personnel are not eligible for the rebate.

Scion Announces the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0

Scion announced at the New York International Auto Show that they will be making a Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 available for purchase. This special edition FR-S has been given upgrades by Toyota Racing Development with both visual and aerodynamic enhancements, according to the writers at Autoblog.

Included on this model is an updated aero kit, an exhaust tip for each of the four cylinders in the engine, lowered suspension and HID headlights. Inside there are black seats, a TRD steering wheel, shifter and cargo mat, push-button start and proximity key. And of course, it's got a standout color (see picture!).

Scion FR-S Awarded a Spot on Automobile Magazine's All-Star List

The Scion FR-S was just given one of the 10 spots on Automobile Magazine's 2014 All-Star list. This coveted list is comprised after every car that's currently for sale in the United States is looked into.

"The virtually identical Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ offer a pure driving experience for a new generation of enthusiasts and are among the few modern cars you can enjoy driving at the limit without losing your license.
